VAG EDC Suite is a category of tuning tools focused on Volkswagen Group diesel engines running Bosch EDC electronic diesel control units, EDC15, EDC16 and EDC17 generations, across Audi, VW, SEAT and Skoda TDI models. Such suites open the ECU firmware and expose the diesel-specific calibration maps: injection quantity and timing, rail pressure, boost and smoke limiters, torque limiters and emissions functions (EGR, DPF regeneration, later SCR/AdBlue). Tuners use them to build Stage 1/2 diesel calibrations and to address emissions-hardware deletes where legal, then recalculate the ECU checksum. The suite works on a firmware image that has already been read from the ECU; a separate flashing tool and interface handle communication with the car. Coverage and automation depend on the specific suite and the EDC generation targeted.
