Immo & Key Programming
VAG Commander is a Windows immobilizer and instrument-cluster tool for Volkswagen Group vehicles (Audi, VW, SEAT, Skoda). It reads immobilizer data, PIN/SKC and component security (CS) codes, across Immo generations, supports key learning and adaptation, and can read/write dashboard EEPROM for mileage and immobilizer operations on VDO and Magneti Marelli clusters. Locksmiths and workshops use it for all-keys-lost situations, spare-key programming, cluster or ECU replacement and immo-off tasks on older platforms. It typically connects via OBD-II with a supported K-line/CAN interface. Several vendors sell software under the 'VAG Commander' name; exact capability depends on the specific version and the immobilizer generation of the target vehicle, with newer secured platforms often requiring more advanced equipment.
Key and immobilizer programming is outside Softechpro's scope. Softechpro complements a VAG immo tool by handling the engine-ECU firmware side, DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction, once the ECU calibration is read.
