ECU Editor / Map Editor
RomEditor is the calibration-editing part of UpRev's Osiris platform, where professional tuners open a factory Nissan/Infiniti ROM and modify its maps before flashing it back. It exposes fuel and ignition tables, cam timing (VTC/VVEL), MAF and injector scaling, throttle/pedal maps, rev and speed limiters, fan and closed-loop settings, and, on forced-induction applications, boost-related parameters. Tuners correlate changes against Osiris datalogs to refine the calibration on the dyno or road. RomEditor is used under UpRev's tuner-licensing model to build custom ROMs for late-model Nissan/Infiniti vehicles. It edits the OEM Nissan calibration rather than a standalone — analogous to other factory-ECU map editors but Nissan-specific.
RomEditor edits factory Nissan ROM maps; Softechpro likewise edits OEM firmware but automates DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off and checksum correction across roughly 1,400 mostly European diesel/petrol firmwares. Same core idea — factory-ECU editing — applied to a different vehicle scope, so they are complementary.
