Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
IDC5 is the diagnostic software platform from the Italian company Texa, running on its Navigator VCIs and Axone tablets or PCs. It is organised into segments — IDC5 CAR, TRUCK, BIKE, MARINE, OHW and AGRI — giving multi-brand coverage across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, motorcycles, boats, and agricultural and construction machinery. IDC5 reads and clears DTCs, displays live parameters, runs activations and adjustments, and performs guided service procedures, resets and forced regenerations. It integrates wiring diagrams, technical bulletins and, with add-ons, exhaust-gas and air-conditioning service tools. Workshops handling mixed vehicle types use IDC5 for its breadth. Coverage is licensed by segment and updated on a subscription or contract basis.
IDC5 is a broad live-diagnostics and service platform; Softechpro works at the firmware level, applying emissions and DTC-off modules and correcting checksums, so it complements IDC5's diagnostics rather than overlapping them.
