Standalone ECU / Engine Management
Speeduino is an open-source, Arduino-based standalone engine-management project, and TunerStudio (by EFI Analytics) is the software most commonly used to configure and tune it. Because Speeduino presents a MegaSquirt-style firmware interface, TunerStudio connects over serial/USB to edit fuel and ignition tables, configure triggers, injectors, sensors and outputs, run live gauges and datalog, and use auto-tune aids. Speeduino appeals to DIY builders and budget-conscious enthusiasts who want a hackable, low-cost standalone ECU for engine swaps and experimental builds, with MegaLogViewer handling deeper log analysis. The combination tunes the Speeduino hardware directly as a standalone aftermarket ECU and does not reflash or modify an OEM factory ECU.
Speeduino with TunerStudio is a DIY standalone ECU that replaces the factory unit, the opposite approach to Softechpro's OEM-firmware editing; they suit different builders and do not overlap.
