ECU Editor / Map Editor
A SID Suite targets Siemens/Continental SID (Siemens Diesel) engine ECUs such as SID201, SID202, SID206, SID803 and 803A, SID807 and 807 EVO, and PPD variants, used on Ford, PSA (Peugeot/Citroen), Volvo, Jaguar/Land Rover, and VAG diesels. Tuners use it to locate and edit injection, rail pressure, boost, torque, EGR, and DPF-related maps, apply Stage tuning, and perform DPF/EGR/DTC edits where legal, followed by SID-specific checksum correction. These Continental ECUs differ from Bosch in map structure and checksum routines, so dedicated definitions are required. Reading and writing is done over OBD, bench, or boot depending on the SID variant. The suite handles file editing while separate flash or bench hardware performs the ECU read and write.
Softechpro covers a range of SID firmwares and can auto-apply DPF/EGR/DTC-off and Stage edits with checksum correction; some newer variants such as SID807 EVO are areas of lighter coverage, and a separate flasher handles the read and write.
