ECU Flash Tool
PCMflash is a Windows flashing application organized into numbered modules, each covering a specific ECU family or brand (for example VAG, Ford, Nissan, Hyundai/Kia and many others). The Module Manager is how users see, activate and update those modules, which are licensed individually and tied to a supported J2534 pass-thru interface, most commonly Scanmatik 2 but also other J2534 devices. PCMflash reads and writes calibration and firmware over OBD and, for some modules, bench, and includes checksum handling for supported ECUs. It is popular with tuners for affordable, targeted coverage where you buy only the modules you need. The Module Manager centralizes purchases, updates and which controllers each installed module supports.
PCMflash reads and writes the ECU; Softechpro Solutions can process the resulting file, applying emissions/DTC modules and Stage maps and correcting the checksum across its firmware library. They complement each other as interface software and file-processing software.
