ECU Flash Tool
MPPS (Multi-Programmer Professional Programming System) is an OBD/bench ECU flashing tool aimed at reading and writing diesel and petrol calibrations, best known for coverage of Bosch EDC15, EDC16 and EDC17 and Siemens/Continental units. It connects over the diagnostic port for most jobs and offers bench/boot connections on certain ECUs, letting tuners back up stock files, write modified maps and read/correct checksums. Distributed heavily as clone hardware across many version numbers, its stability and supported vehicle list vary by build. It has long been an inexpensive entry point into diesel chip tuning on European cars, vans and light trucks. Modern Tricore ECUs are only partially supported depending on version.
MPPS reads and writes the ECU; Softechpro Solutions processes the bin in between, auto-applying EGR/DPF/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and correcting checksums across its ~1,400-firmware library. They cover different steps.
