Standalone ECU / Engine Management
MoTeC M1 Tune is the Windows calibration software for MoTeC's M1 platform ECUs (M130, M140, M142, M150, M170, M182, M190 and OEM-based units). The M1 architecture separates firmware, delivered as Packages built in M1 Build, from calibration, and M1 Tune is where tuners adjust the exposed parameters of a licensed package: fuel, ignition, boost, throttle, motorsport strategies and sensor setup, with live tuning and integrated logging. It is a professional, structured environment used on high-end race and OEM-derived applications, tightly integrated with MoTeC's i2 data analysis and hardware ecosystem. The parameters available depend on the specific M1 package firmware loaded, reflecting MoTeC's package-based licensing model, so capability is defined jointly by the hardware and the purchased package.
M1 Tune configures MoTeC's high-end standalone ECUs; Softechpro operates on factory OEM ECUs for DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off and checksum correction, so the two occupy different ends of the market and complement rather than compete.
