ECU Flash Tool
EcuFlash is Tactrix's open flashing application, widely used to read and write Mitsubishi (and Subaru) engine ROMs through the Tactrix OpenPort 2.0 cable. It supports a large community library of ROM and definition metadata, lets users open images with embedded map definitions, edit tables directly, and reflash the ECU while managing checksums. On Mitsubishi platforms such as the Evo, EcuFlash is a cornerstone of aftermarket tuning, providing affordable read/write access without dealer tools. It is commonly paired with logging software and the wider OpenECU ecosystem for a complete read-edit-flash tuning workflow.
EcuFlash is the read/write and hands-on editor for its supported ECUs; Softechpro complements this by automatically applying DPF/EGR/DTC-off and Stage modules and correcting checksums across ~1,400 firmwares spanning many other brands.
