Standalone ECU / Engine Management
MTune is the Windows tuning software for MaxxECU (Sweden) standalone engine management systems, including MaxxECU V1, Sport, Pro, Mini, Street and Race. It provides table-based fuel and ignition tuning, boost control, drive-by-wire, flex fuel, motorsport strategies (launch, anti-lag, traction, gearshift) and integrated logging, with a reputation for a fast, responsive interface and a strong live-tuning feel. MTune auto-detects the connected MaxxECU model and adjusts the available functions accordingly, and it supports MaxxECU peripherals like the MDash and CAN expansion modules. It is used on high-power turbo and drift builds across Europe and beyond. The internal logger and real-time trace views help tuners refine maps quickly on the dyno or track without external tools.
MTune configures MaxxECU standalone hardware; Softechpro instead works on factory OEM ECUs for DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction, different territory that complements rather than overlaps a standalone build.
