Data Logging & Analysis
Wintax4 is the fourth-generation release of Marelli Motorsport's Wintax data-analysis software. It carries forward Wintax's role as the analysis companion to Marelli's Vision calibration environment, letting race engineers import logged telemetry from Marelli ECUs and loggers, overlay laps, build maths channels and produce plots, histograms and reports. Wintax4 modernises the interface and workflow for handling high-channel-count datasets recorded during testing and racing, and is used by teams running Marelli electronics across professional categories. Like earlier Wintax versions it is an offline and telemetry analysis platform focused on interpreting recorded data, not on writing ECU calibrations, which remain the domain of Vision and the calibration-side tools.
Wintax4 analyses race data and cannot alter an ECU map, so it is unrelated to Softechpro's OEM firmware work; they only share a bench in shops that both flash road ECUs and run Marelli race programmes.
