"Marelli ECU Tool" refers to software used to read, write and tune Magneti Marelli engine control units. Marelli's IAW-family petrol ECUs and its diesel controllers are used extensively by Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Lancia, Jeep and various motorcycle and performance-car makers. Tuners access the ECU through OBD, bench or boot mode, then edit maps for fueling, ignition, boost, torque limiters, speed limiters or driveability before writing back with recalculated checksums.
