Truck & Off-Highway Diagnostic
MAN-cats (Computer Aided Truck Service) is the official diagnostic platform from MAN Truck & Bus for their commercial trucks, buses, and industrial engines. Running on Windows with a MAN diagnostic interface such as the T200 adapter, it communicates across the vehicle's ECUs to read and clear fault codes, display live measured values, run actuator and function tests, perform parameter setting, and carry out guided troubleshooting. Technicians use it for EDC engine controllers, ABS and EBS, retarder, and body electronics on MAN TG-series vehicles and Neoplan buses. It also supports programming and coding of control units within MAN's sanctioned procedures. MAN-cats is a dealer-level service system focused on diagnosis, parameterization, and OEM control-unit programming rather than aftermarket tuning.
Softechpro edits engine firmware with DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off and checksum correction and complements MAN-cats, which handles the OEM diagnostic and coding side that Softechpro does not perform.
