Vision is Magneti Marelli Motorsport's calibration and configuration software for its motorsport engine-control units. Engineers use Vision to access ECU maps and parameters, configure inputs and outputs, and calibrate fuelling, ignition and control strategies on Marelli race ECUs. It is the companion to Wintax: Vision handles the live calibration and configuration side, while Wintax handles logged-data analysis. Vision has been used across professional series that adopted Marelli electronics, including single-seater and rally programmes, and supports the high-resolution calibration workflows those teams require. Because it targets dedicated motorsport control units rather than production vehicle ECUs, it is a race-team tool rather than an OEM reflashing or road-tuning package.
Vision calibrates dedicated Marelli race ECUs, while Softechpro rewrites OEM factory firmware on production vehicles — the tools address different hardware, so they complement rather than replace each other in a mixed workshop.
