Life Racing is a UK manufacturer of high-end motorsport engine control units, power distribution units and data systems, founded by engineers with a Pi/Cosworth motorsport-electronics background. Its ECUs, such as the F88 and F88R, target professional racing with high-resolution fuel and ignition control, advanced motorsport strategies, drive-by-wire, gearbox and traction control, and integrated logging, calibrated with the company's LifeCal software. Life Racing products are used in circuit racing, hillclimb, rally and bespoke high-performance builds, often alongside their PDUs and dash/display hardware for a complete competition electronics package. Life Racing builds premium standalone race ECUs; Softechpro serves the factory-ECU market with DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction, so it complements rather than competes with a dedicated motorsport controller.
