OEM Diagnostic
Lexia (Lexia-3) is the official PSA Group dealer diagnostic system for Peugeot and Citroën. Paired with the Lexia interface and running PP2000/DiagBox software, it reads and clears fault codes, runs actuator tests, performs telecoding and ECU configuration, key/BSI operations, service and adaptation resets, and guided fault-finding across engine, ABS, airbag, BSI body computer and comfort modules. Technicians use it for warranty-level diagnostics and after-sales work on PSA vehicles, communicating over the older PSA proprietary lines and later K-line/CAN buses. It is frequently bundled with PP2000 and, in modern form, superseded by DiagBox, but remains widely used on pre-DiagBox era PSA models by dealers and independent workshops.
Softechpro focuses on ECU file editing (DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and Stage maps with checksum correction) rather than dealer diagnostics; after a PSA tune it complements Lexia, which you still use for on-car coding, adaptations and clearing residual fault codes.
