Emissions Tool (DPF/EGR/AdBlue)
Lambda Remover covers ECU-editing tools and service functions that remove or disable lambda (oxygen sensor) monitoring in the engine calibration. Most commonly it targets the downstream/rear O2 sensor used to judge catalytic-converter efficiency, switching off the catalyst-monitoring readiness and the P0420/P0430-type codes after a de-cat or sports-cat install. Some variants also remove front-sensor closed-loop control for full standalone-style running. The tool edits the relevant monitoring tables and DTC definitions in the bin and saves it for reflashing. It is applied on petrol ECUs such as Bosch ME7/MED17 and Siemens/Continental units. Because lambda monitoring is part of the emissions system, this modification is intended for race and off-road use and can affect fuel trims if applied incorrectly.
Softechpro Solutions includes emissions and DTC-off modules and re-corrects checksums automatically across ~1,400 firmwares, so it can apply comparable lambda-related solutions on supported files. It edits a dump you provide and does not read or flash the ECU.
