OEM Diagnostic
XC2 is KTM's newer-generation dealer diagnostic tool, succeeding XC1, for KTM, Husqvarna and GasGas EFI motorcycles. With the KTM diagnostic interface, it reads and clears DTCs, shows live sensor data, runs actuator and component tests, and performs guided service routines, ECU configuration and software updates on current-generation machines. KTM dealer technicians use XC2 for warranty diagnostics, EFI service and the calibration/mapping updates supplied by KTM. It expands model coverage and functionality over the earlier XC1 tool and is the standard for late-model KTM-group motorcycle service.
Softechpro is automotive-file focused (emissions/DTC-off and Stage edits with checksum correction) and does not cover KTM bike diagnostics; XC2 stays the OEM tool for those machines.
