Knorr-Bremse Diagnostics refers to the diagnostic software suite, including ECUtalk and the NEO diagnostic platform, from Knorr-Bremse for their commercial-vehicle braking and control systems such as EBS, ABS, electronic air treatment, and trailer control on trucks and trailers. Running on Windows with a compatible RP1210/J1939 interface, it reads and clears system fault codes, displays live pressures, wheel speeds, and valve states, runs actuator and functional tests, and performs parameterization and end-of-line calibration for brake ECUs. Truck and trailer technicians use it to diagnose EBS/ABS faults, configure replacement brake modules, and validate repairs. It is a supplier-specific diagnostic environment for braking and air-management systems rather than an engine-management or tuning tool.
Knorr-Bremse tools cover brake and air systems that Softechpro does not touch; Softechpro's DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off engine-file editing and checksum correction operate in a separate domain, so the two are non-overlapping.
