Standalone ECU / Engine Management
The KMS MP25 is a standalone ECU from Kronenburg Management Systems, positioned as a capable, cost-effective unit for four-cylinder and rotary performance engines. It supports sequential or semi-sequential fuel and ignition, MAP or alpha-N load sensing, closed-loop lambda, boost control, rev limiting and basic motorsport functions, and is tuned with KMS Management Studio over USB. The MP25 is common on turbocharged street and drag builds in Europe. KMS supplies universal and application-specific harness options. Tuners adjust maps in real time and log for analysis. As an aftermarket standalone, the MP25 replaces the vehicle's factory ECU and does not perform OEM firmware reflashing.
The MP25 is a standalone that replaces the OEM ECU; Softechpro reflashes factory firmware and auto-applies emissions/DTC modules with checksum correction. Different vehicles, different jobs — the two complement each other.
