KESS V2 is Alientech's second-generation OBD ECU programmer, widely used by professional tuners to read and write engine control units through the diagnostic port. Working with K-Suite software, it identifies the connected ECU, saves the original calibration, and writes edited files back on a large database of cars, vans, trucks, motorcycles and agricultural vehicles. It handles Bosch, Siemens/Continental, Delphi, Marelli, Denso and other controllers over the common CAN/K-line protocols. For ECUs that cannot be flashed over OBD, tuners pair it with the K-TAG bench tool. Protocols are unlocked via licensed updates. KESS V2 became a market standard before being superseded by the newer KESS3 platform.
KESS V2 reads and writes the ECU over OBD; Softechpro Solutions is where the bin gets its DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction between read and write. Use them together.
