JB4 Mobile is the smartphone application for the Burger Motorsports JB4 piggyback tuning system. Paired with a JB4 Bluetooth or Wi-Fi Connect Kit, it lets the driver switch JB4 boost maps on the fly, monitor live gauges such as boost, timing, fueling and AFR, datalog runs, and adjust JB4 settings including boost targets. On many platforms it can also read basic engine data and, combined with a backend flash such as an MHD or BM3 map on BMW, coordinate hybrid tuning. It effectively turns a phone into the JB4's control and monitoring interface without a laptop.
JB4 Mobile controls a piggyback hardware device that sits alongside the stock ECU, while Softechpro modifies the ECU firmware itself with emissions and DTC-off modules and checksum correction, a fundamentally different tuning approach.
