iCarsoft produces a range of affordable handheld diagnostic scanners aimed at enthusiasts and small workshops. Its line-up spans single-make units (series tailored to VAG, BMW, Mercedes, Land Rover, Toyota, and others) and multi-brand models that cover many manufacturers. Beyond generic OBD2 engine codes, iCarsoft tools read and clear fault codes across multiple control modules — ABS, airbag/SRS, transmission, and body systems — and perform common service functions such as oil-service resets, EPB (electronic parking brake) maintenance, and battery registration on supported cars. The devices are self-contained with their own display and update over Wi-Fi or PC. They are positioned as an inexpensive alternative to professional dealer tools for routine diagnosis and light service work.
iCarsoft handhelds cover fault reading and service resets; Softechpro Solutions sits at the calibration layer, editing ECU firmware for emissions/DTC modules and tuning — work a service scanner like iCarsoft does not perform.
