Standalone ECU / Engine Management
Haltech NSP (Nexus Software Program) is the Windows tuning application for Haltech's Nexus range and newer products, unifying ECU calibration with the brand's power-distribution and display ecosystem. Tuners use it to configure fuel, ignition, boost, motorsport strategies (launch control, traction, anti-lag), CAN devices and integrated PDM outputs on Nexus R3, R5 and R5+ units. NSP provides live tuning, high-speed logging, wizards for base setups and a wiring/hardware view reflecting the Nexus integrated PDM architecture. It suits complex performance and race builds that combine engine management with power distribution in a single controller, simplifying the harness. NSP represents Haltech's current-generation software direction, distinct from the older ECU Manager used on earlier Platinum-series hardware and the Elite ESP software.
Haltech NSP tunes standalone race ECUs; Softechpro instead modifies factory ECUs for emissions modules, DTC-off and checksum correction, so a shop running both handles standalone builds and stock-ECU street cars with separate toolchains.
