Standalone ECU / Engine Management
Haltech Nexus Software (the Nexus Software Program, NSP) is the Windows tuning environment for Haltech's Nexus family, which combines engine management and power distribution in one unit. It lets tuners calibrate fuel, ignition, boost and motorsport strategies while also mapping the integrated PDM's fused outputs, virtual switching and hardware logic, configuration that traditional setups offload to separate fuse boxes and relays. Used on Nexus R3, R5 and R5+, it provides live tuning, comprehensive logging and setup wizards. Because Nexus integrates so much hardware, its software carries wiring/PDM views alongside engine tables, making it a fit for advanced race and show builds that want simplified harnesses and centralized control of both the engine and the vehicle's electrical loads.
Nexus software manages an integrated standalone ECU/PDM; Softechpro works the opposite side of the market, editing factory ECUs for DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off modules and checksum correction, so a workshop may use each on different projects.
