Haltech Elite Software Programmer (ESP) is the Windows tuning application for the Haltech Elite series (Elite 550, 750, 950, 1000, 1500, 2000, 2500 and Elite plug-ins). It offers a modern, wizard-driven interface for configuring fuel, ignition, boost, closed-loop lambda, motorsport strategies, CAN I/O and Haltech peripherals such as WBC wideband controllers and IC-7 dashes. ESP supports live tuning, high-speed internal logging and a large library of sensor calibrations, and is used on street and race builds worldwide. It sits between the older ECU Manager (Platinum) and the newer NSP (Nexus) in Haltech's software lineage, and remains the primary tool for the very large Elite installed base, making it one of the most common standalone tuning environments in service today.
Haltech ESP is for standalone Elite hardware; Softechpro complements this world by handling factory-ECU tasks such as emissions-module removal, DTC-off and checksum correction across roughly 1,400 firmwares on vehicles that keep their OEM ECU.
