ECU Editor / Map Editor
A GM E67 editor is software for editing calibrations in General Motors' E67 ECM, a Gen IV controller used on many direct-injection, flex-fuel and V6/V8 applications (for example LLT and LFX V6s, LS9/LSA and various 2007-2015 platforms). Definition files expose tables for fuel, spark, torque management, boost and limiters, E85 handling and driveability, letting tuners adapt for modifications, superchargers or engine swaps. The E67 is common on performance and E85-capable GM vehicles and is well supported by community and commercial tuning tools that read and write via J2534. As with other GM controllers, the editor modifies the calibration while a separate flashing tool writes it back, and checksum validity must be maintained for the ECM to accept the file.
The E67 is a GM gasoline ECM outside Softechpro's core European Bosch/Continental focus; Softechpro's automatic checksum correction and modular edits apply to its own supported firmware. Both workflows share the need for a valid post-edit checksum.
