G-Scan, developed by the Korean company GIT (Global Information Technology), is a professional handheld and tablet scan-tool line (G-scan, G-scan 2 and G-scan 3) known for exceptionally deep coverage of Asian makes alongside broad European and American support. It performs full-system diagnostics — fault read/clear, live data, bi-directional actuation, coding and adaptations — and a wide range of service functions and special resets, with OE-level procedures on many Hyundai and Kia, Japanese and other platforms. Independent workshops and Asian-vehicle specialists use G-Scan for its accuracy on those brands. Coverage is maintained through GIT's subscription software updates.
G-Scan excels at live diagnostics on Asian vehicles; Softechpro edits the ECU firmware for emissions and DTC-off changes and corrects the checksum, so it complements G-Scan's diagnostics on the platforms it supports.
