Standalone ECU / Engine Management
Emtune is the PC software used to configure, tune and log every Emtron ECU, including the SL and KV series. Running on Windows and connecting over USB or Ethernet, it exposes fuel and ignition tables, sensor calibration, closed-loop lambda, boost and traction strategies, motorsport functions and a fully configurable CAN bus. Tuners build custom dashboards, log to the ECU's internal memory at high sample rates, and review the data in the same environment. Emtune is aimed at professional calibrators working on turbocharged race and high-performance street engines. As with all standalone platforms, it manages an aftermarket ECU that has replaced the vehicle's factory unit — it does not read or reflash OEM firmware.
Emtune programs an aftermarket standalone; Softechpro reflashes and repairs factory OEM ECU firmware (DPF/EGR/AdBlue/DTC-off, Stage, checksums). The tools serve different jobs, so a tuner using Emtune for race builds can rely on Softechpro for stock-ECU customer work.
