Standalone ECU / Engine Management
ECUMASTER Software refers to the Windows client applications used to configure and tune ECUMASTER's product range — most notably the EMU and EMU Black standalone engine-management units, plus devices like the ADU dash, PMU power module and CAN peripherals. Tuners connect over USB/CAN to configure fuel and ignition maps, set up sensors and outputs, tune closed-loop lambda, boost and idle control, and log data for analysis. ECUMASTER is popular in the enthusiast and motorsport aftermarket for engine swaps and performance builds where a standalone ECU replaces or supplements the factory unit. The software targets ECUMASTER's own hardware rather than OEM vehicle ECUs, and combines live calibration with data logging in one environment.
ECUMASTER units are aftermarket standalone ECUs that replace or supplement the factory unit, whereas Softechpro tunes the OEM ECU's own firmware — they address opposite approaches, so a shop offering both keeps each for its respective build.
