OEM Diagnostic
DDS (Ducati Diagnosis System, e.g. DDS 2.0) is Ducati's official dealer diagnostic and service tool for its motorcycles. It reads and clears fault codes, displays live ECU parameters, and performs actuator/injector tests, throttle body (throttle alignment/TPS) procedures, guided service routines, ECU configuration and software recall updates across Ducati EFI models. Ducati technicians use DDS for warranty diagnostics, servicing and the throttle-body balancing Ducati engines require. Later versions are delivered as an integrated tester unit tied to Ducati's service network, making it the reference tool for correct Ducati EFI service.
Softechpro edits automotive ECU calibration files and emissions/DTC-off modules and does not cover Ducati bike diagnostics, so DDS remains the tool for Ducati service and throttle alignment.
