ECU Editor / Map Editor
DTC Off Tool is a generic term for the software function that performs a 'DTC off' service — permanently suppressing chosen fault codes inside an ECU calibration. Tuners use it after deletes or sensor removals so the affected code cannot re-set and cannot force a warning lamp or reduced-power mode. A DTC-off tool identifies the code tables for the specific ECU, allows the operator to select which P-codes to disable, and rewrites the binary accordingly; the edited file is then flashed back to the module. It is applied across a wide range of diesel and petrol ECUs from Bosch, Continental/Siemens, Delphi and Marelli. Suppressing diagnostic codes removes real emissions and OBD monitoring, so the function is intended for closed-course and off-highway use.
The DTC-off function is core to Softechpro Solutions, which auto-detects and disables codes across ~1,400 firmwares and corrects checksums automatically. It operates on the dump you supply and does not replace the hardware used to read and write the ECU.
