OEM Calibration & Measurement
dSPACE ControlDesk is the experiment and instrumentation software for dSPACE real-time systems, used to operate and observe HIL simulators and rapid-control-prototyping setups and to perform ECU measurement and calibration. Engineers build instrument panels with plotters, gauges and controls, access model and ECU variables, and via its ECU-interface and calibration modules using A2L and XCP/CCP, measure and adjust controller parameters live. It is central to automotive development for running HIL tests, RCP experiments and bench measurement in one environment, and integrates tightly with dSPACE SCALEXIO and MicroAutoBox hardware. ControlDesk is manufacturer-agnostic, driven by the project's models, variable descriptions and A2L files rather than any single vehicle.
ControlDesk is OEM development software for HIL and live calibration, which Softechpro does not aim to replace. Softechpro complements the pipeline downstream by applying firmware modules and correcting checksums on finished images.
