The DiabloSport Predator is one of the brand's earlier and long-running handheld OBD-II tuners for domestic Ford, GM, and Chrysler/Dodge/Jeep vehicles. It flashes preloaded performance and economy calibrations, adjusts common parameters such as spark, shift firmness, speed/rev limiters, and tire-size/gear corrections where supported, and can read and clear diagnostic trouble codes. Simpler than the touchscreen Trinity, the Predator uses a compact keypad-and-screen interface and stores the factory calibration so the vehicle can be returned to stock. It was widely used by enthusiasts adding basic bolt-on tunes and correcting speedometer error after tire or gear changes. Later handhelds like the Trinity and inTune superseded it, but the Predator remains common in the used domestic-tuning market.
The Predator is a legacy domestic gasoline handheld; Softechpro is modern EU diesel emissions/DTC-off and checksum software. There is no functional overlap.
