Immo & Key Programming
CG Pro 9S12 by CGDI is a programmer specialized in Freescale/NXP 9S12 and 9S12X (HC12) family microcontrollers, which are widely used in automotive control modules. It reads and writes these MCUs, including secured variants, for tasks such as BMW CAS/FEM key programming and mileage work, dashboard and module operations, and general chip cloning. Locksmiths and immobilizer specialists use it where a 9S12-based module must be read to obtain key/immo data or to repair or clone a unit. It uses adapters for various packages and in-circuit or soldered connections. CG Pro is Windows-driven with its own device and is often used alongside CGDI's key-programming tools. Its scope centers on chip-level reading rather than diagnostics or tuning.
CG Pro reads 9S12 MCUs for key/immo/mileage jobs, not something Softechpro does. Softechpro's separate role is engine-ECU firmware editing for emissions/DTC/tuning with automatic checksum correction on supported files.
