Truck & Off-Highway Diagnostic
Cat ET (Caterpillar Electronic Technician) is Caterpillar's official service software for its electronically controlled engines and machines. Connected through a Cat Communication Adapter (III), it reads and clears diagnostic and event codes, displays and logs live parameters, runs diagnostic tests and calibrations, adjusts configurable parameters, performs flash programming of Cat ECMs (with WinFlash), and reviews service and trip data. Cat dealers, fleets and equipment shops use ET across on-highway trucks, construction, mining, marine and power systems. It is the standard tool for Caterpillar engine and machine diagnostics and reprogramming where genuine OEM access is required.
Softechpro edits supported engine calibration files (emissions/DTC-off, Stage, checksum correction); Cat ET is the OEM interface for genuine Cat ECM flashing, configuration and clearing codes on the equipment.
