Brain Bee, an Italian brand now part of the MAHLE group, makes automotive diagnostic and workshop equipment. Its Connex diagnostic software and interfaces provide multi-brand full-system diagnostics — fault read/clear, live data, actuations and service resets — while the wider Brain Bee range covers air-conditioning service stations, exhaust-gas analysers, headlamp testers and ADAS calibration equipment. Independent workshops use Brain Bee both for control-unit diagnostics and for emissions and AC service. Diagnostic coverage is updated through subscription, and the brand is often specified where combined diagnostics and garage service equipment are needed under one supplier.
Brain Bee handles live diagnostics and workshop service equipment; Softechpro operates on the ECU firmware for emissions and DTC-off edits and checksum correction, so the two complement each other in a shop's toolkit.
