RaceCon is Bosch Motorsport's configuration and calibration software for its motorsport ECUs and data-logging hardware, including the MS-series engine control units and matching displays and loggers. Engineers use RaceCon to configure sensor inputs, define measurement channels, set up CAN communication, calibrate engine functions and manage the logging setup that later feeds WinDarab or MoDaS. It provides a project-based environment where the whole electronics package — ECU, dash, logger, PDU — is configured together. RaceCon targets professional and semi-professional teams running Bosch Motorsport electronics across circuit, rally and prototype racing. Unlike OEM reflashing tools, it works with purpose-built motorsport control units rather than production vehicle ECUs.
RaceCon calibrates purpose-built Bosch motorsport ECUs, whereas Softechpro modifies OEM production-vehicle firmware — different hardware and use cases, so they serve separate parts of a tuning business rather than overlapping.
