Data Logging & Analysis
MDA (Measure Data Analyzer), from ETAS in the Bosch group, is a tool for visualizing and evaluating measurement data recorded during ECU development and calibration. It reads standard measurement formats such as MDF and displays signals as oscilloscopes, tables, x-y plots and calibration-map overlays, letting engineers analyze recorded testbed and in-vehicle runs offline. It integrates closely with INCA, so data captured during calibration can be reviewed, compared and validated afterward. Typical users are OEM and Tier-1 calibration engineers checking whether control strategies behaved as intended across measured operating points. MDA is an offline analysis application, not a flashing, diagnostic or live-tuning device, and it consumes recorded data rather than modifying ECUs.
MDA reviews measurement logs from OEM calibration work; Softechpro Solutions changes calibration content in firmware directly and does not perform this style of engineering data analysis, so the two do not overlap.
