Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
ESI[tronic] 2.0 is Bosch's workshop software combining diagnostics and repair information for independent garages. Paired with a Bosch KTS diagnostic interface, it provides control-unit diagnostics — DTC read/clear, actuations and service functions — across a very wide multi-brand range, alongside guided troubleshooting (SIS), wiring diagrams, maintenance schedules, service-history and OE part and equipment data. It also supports secure-diagnostic and pass-thru access for certain brands via its online services. General repair shops use ESItronic both to diagnose faults and to look up procedures and specifications. It is licensed by information and diagnostic modules and updated regularly by Bosch.
ESItronic diagnoses faults and supplies repair data; Softechpro operates on the ECU firmware itself, disabling emissions systems and DTCs and correcting the checksum, so the two address different stages of a job.
