OEM Diagnostic
Tool32 is a utility in BMW's Standard Tools/EDIABAS suite that runs individual diagnostic "jobs" from BMW's SGBD/.PRG description files against a control module. Over a K+DCAN interface, it lets advanced users execute specific ECU routines directly — reading identification and status, triggering activations/tests, resetting adaptations (for example DPF/particulate resets, injector or service data), and running functions not exposed in higher-level tools. It is favored by BMW specialists and coders who know the exact job name they need to call, offering granular, scriptable access to the same EDIABAS layer that INPA uses. Because it sends raw jobs, it demands knowledge of the module's PRG file. Tool32 sits alongside INPA, NCS Expert, and WinKFP in the classic E-series (and some F-series) toolchain.
Tool32 executes low-level BMW ECU jobs and resets; Softechpro Solutions is unrelated to EDIABAS job execution — it edits the ECU firmware for emissions/DTC-off modules and Stage tuning with checksum correction on the read image.
