AVL CRETA

OEM Calibration & MeasurementAVLWindows

AVL CRETA is a calibration data management (CDM) tool used to organize, version and merge ECU calibration datasets across large, multi-engineer development programs. It tracks changes to calibration parameters, manages variants and branches, controls merges and conflicts, and maintains an auditable history so teams can consolidate work from many calibrators into consistent, releasable datasets. Working with A2L descriptions and formats like DCM/CDFX/HEX, it integrates with measurement-and-calibration tools such as INCA and CANape. OEMs and Tier-1 suppliers rely on CRETA to keep engine, transmission and emissions calibrations coordinated and traceable through a project's lifecycle. It is data-management focused and vehicle-agnostic, concerned with the calibration datasets themselves rather than live tuning or flashing.

Where Softechpro fits

CRETA governs OEM calibration datasets and their lifecycle, a data-management discipline unrelated to Softechpro. Softechpro edits finished firmware images with modules and checksum correction, so it addresses a different, downstream part of the workflow.
