Allison DOC

Truck & Off-Highway DiagnosticAllison TransmissionWindows + diagnostic interface

Allison DOC (Diagnostic Optimized Connection) is the official PC diagnostic tool from Allison Transmission for their electronically controlled automatic transmissions found in medium and heavy trucks, buses, motorhomes, and off-highway machines. Running on Windows and connecting through a J1939/J1708 interface, it reads and clears transmission diagnostic trouble codes, streams live TCM data such as temperatures, pressures, and gear state, runs actuator and clutch tests, and displays calibration and prognostics information like oil-life and filter-life monitoring. Fleet technicians and Allison distributors use it to troubleshoot shift-quality complaints, verify sensor and solenoid operation, and confirm TCM configuration. It is a diagnostic and monitoring platform rather than a tuning tool; reprogramming of TCM calibrations is handled by the companion Allison reprogramming application.

Where Softechpro fits

Softechpro focuses on engine-ECU firmware editing such as DPF, EGR, AdBlue and DTC-off with checksum correction, so it complements rather than overlaps Allison DOC, which handles transmission-side diagnostics and TCM data Softechpro does not touch.
