Standalone ECU / Engine Management
AEMTuner is the Windows calibration software for AEM's programmable EMS Series 2 and EMS-4 standalone engine-management systems. It provides table-based fuel and ignition tuning, boost control, closed-loop options, motorsport features and datalogging for these plug-and-play and universal ECUs, which were widely fitted to Japanese and domestic performance cars in the 2000s-2010s. AEMTuner uses configurable channels and a familiar map/table layout, letting tuners adjust VE or fuel tables, ignition timing and I/O to match modified engines. While AEM's later Infinity platform uses separate Infinity Tuner software, AEMTuner remains the tool for the large installed base of Series 2 plug-in and EMS-4 units still in service on street and race vehicles, so many existing calibrations continue to be maintained in it.
AEMTuner runs AEM standalone hardware; Softechpro focuses on factory ECUs for emissions-module removal, DTC-off and checksum correction, so they complement each other across standalone and OEM-ECU projects rather than overlapping.
