Standalone ECU / Engine Management
The Adaptronic Select series is a line of plug-in and universal ECUs introduced after Adaptronic joined Haltech, tuned with Select ECU Manager software. Offered as vehicle-specific plug-ins (for platforms such as Subaru, Nissan and Mitsubishi Evo) and as universal units, the Select ECUs bring sequential fuel and ignition, closed-loop boost, flex-fuel, launch control and CAN into a simpler, more user-friendly package than the earlier Modular line. Select ECU Manager runs on Windows over USB with guided setup, tuning tables and logging. The range targets enthusiasts and shops wanting a near plug-and-play standalone. It plugs into or replaces the factory harness but functions as an aftermarket standalone, not an OEM reflash.
Select is a plug-in standalone that supersedes the factory ECU; Softechpro is a reflash and DTC-off/Stage toolset for OEM firmware with automatic checksums. Different jobs — Softechpro covers the stock-ECU customer cars a Select shop doesn't convert.
