Aftermarket Diagnostic Scanner
Multi-Diag is the diagnostic system from the French group Actia, combining a VCI interface with Multi-Diag software, and the truck-oriented Multi-Diag Truck for commercial vehicles. It offers multi-brand coverage for cars and light commercials — reading and clearing DTCs, live data, actuator tests, coding and service functions — plus J2534 pass-thru support for running OE software on many vehicles. Actia is also a tier-one supplier of diagnostic equipment to vehicle makers and inspection networks, so Multi-Diag is used both in independent workshops and in more official settings. Coverage and functions are maintained through subscription updates.
Multi-Diag provides live diagnostics and J2534 pass-thru to OE software; Softechpro edits the ECU firmware for emissions and DTC-off changes and corrects the checksum, complementing the scanner rather than replacing its programming path.
