Definition
Bosch EDC15 is the common-rail diesel ECU family used 1999-2006 on VAG (PD TDI), Opel, Volvo, BMW and many others. Communicates via K-Line / KWP2000. No TPROT — calibration accessible directly via WinOLS-class tools.
Why workshops care
The simplest ECU family to tune. Single outer CRC at end of binary. Most early Audi A4 1.9 TDI / VW Passat TDI / Skoda Octavia VRS TDI tunes target this ECU.
