VVDI2 by Xhorse is a professional key-programming and immobilizer tool combining a dedicated device with Windows software. It covers multiple brands with strong capability for Volkswagen Group, BMW, Porsche and others, handling key learning, all-keys-lost, immobilizer data, remote generation and some module functions. For VAG it works with various immobilizer generations (including MQB with additional authorization), and for BMW it supports CAS/FEM/BDC-related key operations depending on version. Locksmiths and auto-key specialists use VVDI2 as a core immobilizer platform, often alongside Xhorse key blanks and remotes. It requires the VVDI2 hardware and token/authorization for certain functions. It is focused on keys, remotes and immobilizer work rather than engine calibration.
