Send mode 09 with PID 0B over OBD-II. The ECU returns data byte(s), decoded with PAIR_HEX_to_INT (A, B, C, D are the returned bytes in order). The result is “IPT compression ignition (In-use Performance Tracking)”. This is standard SAE J1979 data supported by most OBD-II scan tools and loggers.
